At a pre-release tournament for Gatecrash, I won the night with Boros, thanks mostly to Skyknight Legionnaire, Firefist Striker, and Massive Raid. I added a few Lightning Bolts to compliment the awesome Boros Charm and wound up with a Boros-Burn kind of feel.

Fairly creature-heavy, Massive Raid is a quick way to deal a good bit of damage to your opponent, especially if Assemble the Legion is allowed to work its magic. Burn at the Stake is an amped up Raid basically.

The battalion mechanic is where Boros shines, of course. Firefist Striker keeps your opponent's creatures from blocking; Frontline Medic makes all yours indestructible; Firemane Avenger is a nice flyer that also burns; and Skyknight Legionnaire's haste is a quick and unexpected way to trigger all these battalion abilities. So, a good scenario would go something like this...

Turn One: Mountain, Lightning Bolt your opponent.

Turn Two: Plains, Firefist Striker

Turn Three: Mountain, Frontline Medic

Turn Four: Plains, Skyknight Legionnaire and swing all three, Lightning Bolt for good measure

Turn Five: Mountain, Skyknight Legionnaire, swing all four, Boros Charm for the win.

Naturally, this won't always happen, but it can be a quick deck if you play your cards right.
