Soul Sisters, but with better shit.

Life-gain is pretty relevant in Modern. This deck combines some life-gain engines (Soul Sisters, Martyr of Sands) with some life-gain exploiters (Serra Ascendant, Searing Meditation) and some generic white weenie goodness (Mikaeus, the Lunarch), then notices literally every one of the above is a 1-CMC human, so in goes Ranger of Eos, Proclamation of Rebirth, and Champion of the Parish. It also runs best-of-format creature removal in Path to Exile and Lightning Helix.

It's surprisingly punchy - its aggro game is a little slow, but non-negligible, it can be punishing to try to outrace, and some games you swing turn 3 with a lit-up Serra Ascendant.
