Sideboard

I made my Roon deck in 2008. Over the years I have upgraded it and tried out different themes and mechanics. After all this time I have finally found my favorite build.

This deck now focuses on populating the field through the manifest/manifest dread mechanic. Since this mechanic is all about the top of the deck we make it more consistent by using as many permanents as possible. As I grow my field with facedown 2/2’s I blink or flicker them to have them enter the battlefield face up.

A lot of the creatures we want to cheat into play have high mana costs. To prevent them from being dead in the hand they all have a secondary ability. They either have some form of cycling, adventure, or can be discard by its own effect.

It took some time to find the right balance between the manifest, flicker, and big creatures cards but I believe I have found it. Making a deck with two main themes is tough enough but three is near impossible. So if you try to build this deck please keep the balance in mind. I really enjoy playing with this deck and recommend giving it a try.
