A budget-y Brago Stax list with two win conditions in Blue Sun's Zenith and Rest in Piece + Helm of Obedience. The list you see here are cards I own in paper and look forward to play at my local store's EDH league.

Extract value with stuff like: Augury Owl, Sage of Epityr (draw filtering), Ephara, Kor Cartographer, Stoneforge Mystic, Trinket Mage (tutoring), and Sun Titan

Deny resources with stuff like: The Rishadan Squad (Cutpurse, Footpad, and Brigand), Aven Mindcensor, Reflector Mage, Reality Acid, and Parallax Tide

Tie that together with with Brago's ability and Strionic Resonator to copy it while having enough artifact mana and prepare to have the whole table chase you down.

Inifinite Mana Generation requires 3 conditions:

1. You have Brago on the field
2. You have Strionic Resonator out
3. You are able to produce more than 3 mana via artifacts

You need 2 mana to power the Strionic Resonator targeting Brago's trigger when he attacks. Have the resonator blink itself and the mana-producing artifacts after you tap them for mana. Rinse and repeat until you've generated enough mana to deck someone out with Blue Sun's Zenith or Helm of Obedience.

Small note on how you win with Rest in Peace + Helm of Obedience:

Because all cards that enter any graveyard go to exile thanks to Rest in Peace, the helm checks for how many cards hit (or if you hit a creature) before it becomes sacrificed but never sees anything. It continues to mill your opponent out of the game because of this interaction. Proceed to repeat on every other opponent.

I'm currently looking for what additions to make for the deck with some provisions:

• I have to say no to proxies, as my local store does not permit them for its local EDH league.

• If I am to add more denial pieces, I would prefer it in the form of taxing stuff like Aura of Silence or Mystic Remora.

• Okay with replacing ETBT lands

• I'd like to add more artifact mana sources if possible

• Aiming for a lower curve, but I'll likely want to keep stuff like Lavinia, Ephara, and Resolute Archangel given the hate these types of decks draw.

• I'll likely cut creature auras and aura fetchers (Heliod's Pilgrim) but keep stuff like Reality Acid and Stupefying Touch

• I understand I have Mindlock Orb here, but I'll cut that for sure.
