Break Open is recognized as one of the worst cards around, but it is one of the few of those I haven't yet seen a deck built around. So I decided to do it myself. Since this is a deck built around a bad card, I also tried to use, where possible, cards that usually aren't considered that great, which has the added bonus of making it cheaper! The exceptions are Isochron Scepter and Akroma, Angel of Fury
Basic plan: drop large morph creature onto the board, then cast Break Open and one of your many redirects (Willbender, Swerve, Meddle to turn it face up)
Akroma, Angel of Fury and Krosan Colossus are your large beaters.
Brine Elemental is a beater with tempo gain, as is Silent Specter.
Ixidron acts as a sort of one-sided wrath that lets you re-use your utility morphs (Fathom Seer, Willbender, Echo Tracer, Brine Elemental).
As well as Ixidron, you can use Weaver of Lies, Backslide, and Echo Tracer to recycle your utility morphs.
All of the redirect spells double as protection against removal of tehe large morph creatures. Muddle the Mixture is an additional counterspell but can mainly be used as a tutor as the important cards of the combo are all cmc2 (excluding the beaters), whichever of the combo you happen to be missing.
Aphetto Runecaster and Fathom Seer are included for card draw.
The deck is running only 22 land, as everything costs either two or three. Ixidron is the most expensive card to play, as you will hard-cast it for the 5cmc.
