Breya Combo Deck

Breya, Etherium Shaper is a legendary artifact human from Alara.

Her native shard of Esper is driven by the Noble Work, an effort to augment all living things with an aether-infused alloy called etherium. The Esperites believed Alara's etherium supply was finite because no one could create it, but after the shards of Alara were reunited during the Event, Breya has proven them wrong.

While exploring Jund, Breya discovered carmot, a red stone necessary for creating etherium that didn't exist on Esper. To prove her achievement, Breya replaced the majority of her organic body with etherium she created herself. Soon after, Breya realized that the wild magic of Jund had influenced her metal, granting her powerful new abilities.

In Esper, the artificers create many machines, ranging from birds to golems. Drakes circle the skies, while still humbled by the power of sphinxes, who dominate and protect the plane. Gargoyles and wizards are the knights of Esper. Under the control of the mages and vedalken, they are ready to repel any attack. A small race of blue-skinned sentient beings, called the homunculi, act as servants. A telemin is an Esper mage-puppet, a creature that willingly submits to being "played" like an instrument by a mage's mind control abilities. The telemin itself is merely the instrument—the mind-mage is considered the artist responsible for the quality of the performance.

The green-less color combination is artifice.

Artifice is a crafty but underhanded deception. It is a trick played out as an ingenious, but artful, ruse. It is a strategic maneuver that uses some clever means to avoid detection or capture. It is a tactical move to gain advantage.

  • Gattling Gun Opponents: Cast Sculpting Steel to copy Sharuum the Hegemon. Sharuum ETB will trigger and put on stack. Legendary rule will apply so put Sharuum to the graveyard. Resolve stack to return Sharuum to the battlefield which will trigger ETB then apply legendary rule. This will provide infinite enter the battlefield instances to trigger Impact Tremors to deal unlimited damage to opponents.
  • Unlimited Life, Thopters, Colorless Mana and ETB: With at least 1 mana sacrifice Sword of the Meek to Thopter Foundry to gain 1 life and create a thopter which will trigger Sword of the Meek's ability which will return it to the battlefield attached to the thopter. Use Krark-Clan Ironworks or Ashnod's Altar to sacrifice the thopter to generate 2 colorless mana. Use 1 colorless mana to sacrifice Sword of the Meek again to Thopter Foundry to gain 1 life and create a thopter which will trigger Sword of the Meek's ability which will return it to the battlefield attached to the thopter. This will net you 1 colorless mana. Once you get 2M colorless mana, you can then use 1M colorless mana to create 1m thopters to trigger ETB effects with Impact Tremors or deck out oppoents with Altar of the Brood
  • Breya, Etherium Shaper enters the battlefield with 2 thopters. Use Ashnod's Altar or Krark-Clan Ironworks to sacrifice 1 thopter and Breya which will generate 4 colorless mana. Use the 4 colorless mana for the Nim Deathmantle trigger to return Breya to the battlefield. Breya ETB's with 2 thopters. Repeat until you get a ton of thopters and a ton of ETB/LTB triggers. You can use them to kill all opponents with Breya's activated abilities.
