This deck is built to take advantage of Teysa's abilities. Any insight or thoughts would be appreciated as I am still working with it! Currently this deck does well when it does, but usually has issues with mana. This could be anything from missing land drops to still only having around 6 or 7 mana so being able to play only one thing per turn in mid-to-later game. This is most likely at least in part due to the high mana curve with respect to the lands and ramp, so I should lower the curve. However, I think most things that are high cost are game-changers.

I recently put a bunch more ramp in and took out some higer cost things, and the games have been much better with respect to mana. After playing her a few more times, she still feels a bit slow. I think the curve is still not perfect as even after missing land drops, you can really only play one thing per turn. Coupled with this is that in order for the deck to work, you really want sac fodder (like Hunted Witness), a sac outlet (like Spawning Pit), payoff (like Blood Artist), and Teysa out. Just feels like you need a lot of set up time with respect to other decks, but that isn't awful in a 4-player game as others take attention.

This deck really revolves around having Teysa on the field, so removal hurts a lot, especially when coupled with the aforementioned mana issues. I found Fanatical Devotion but regeneration is a very confusing and nonsensical mechanic.

I am not sure about Hidden Stockpile, Carrion Feeder, or Liesa, Forgotten Archangel. When I first found Liesa, I thought she was another version of Athreos, God of Passage so I was elated. However, the more I think of her, the more I realize how lackluster she might be. I also just swtiched out Aetherworks Marvel for Ao, the Dawn Sky as I had not gotten a chance to play Marvel, and the deck seems like it could use more sac fodder.

I just ordered this on paper, so I moved most of the expensive cards to maybeboard. Namely Grave Pact, Dictate of Erebos, Altar of Dementia, Attrition, Fetid Heath, Pitiless Plunderer, Sword of the Animist, Revel in Riches, and Ashnod's Altar. Athreos and Elenda, the Dusk Rose are still in mainboard as they are both basically win conditions.
