This is a modernized version of the Golgari Explore Deck. I loved playing GB Explore in standard and felt the urge to port it into modern to find even cooler potential synergies.
This is a budget version of the actual deck I use at FNM (Modern Golgari Explore). This is almost the original brew I made from the cards I had lying around but with a few changes that come from experience with the actual competitive deck.
Beware that both decks are not anything near meta, but I had some good results at FNM nonetheless so it's definitely out there.

GAMEPLAN

The decklist follows a more or less classic GB Midrange shell.
This means strong indivdual cards like Vraska, Golgari Queen and efficient interaction like Inquisition of Kozilek or Abrupt Decay allow to keep up the pressure, while depriving the opponent of their resources and eventually finish off with a pseudo-unblockable Shriekmaw or a juiced up Wildgrowth Walker.

The Explore-Mechanic Show

The big difference between this list and the classic GB Midrange deck is the strong utilization of the Explore keyword. We use this for two effects:
1. Explore thins out our deck, assuring us land drops and lets us dig for value
2. Enables a nice +1/+1 engine consisting of Wildgrowth Walker + Winding Constrictor and our Explore cards Deadeye Tracker, Jadelight Ranger and Merfolk Branchwalker

Together with Nihill Spellbomb Ashiok builds the foundation of my graveyard hate tools. It also slows ramp decks by quite a bit, so consider bringing a second copy if your local meta is heavy on those decks.
