Took this to FNM, wen't 1-3, mostly due to inexperience and a bad sideboard. Still, learnt a bunch and have some ideas on how to improve the deck.
vs. Abzan midrange: not the worst matchup, but could definitely deal with being a bit faster and having better answers for Siege Rhinos. As dumb as it sounds, I'm considering Tainted Remedy.
vs. RU Thopters: unsure what to do against this deck, as Black doesn't have the best answers to artifacts. The thopters themselves aren't the worst, thanks to Bile Blight, but I can't really think of an answer to an early Ensoul Artifact.
vs. RU mill: this is definitely where my poor sideboard is showing, as all of my creature removal is useful and I didn't have anything good to sideboard to. More creatures in the board, especially recurring creatures, would help. Also considering Cranial Archive and maybe Graveblade Marauder
The matchup that I won was vs. some sort of UW deck that I didn't see enough of to make a reasonable assessment of. Stomped it very quickly.
