Demonic Pact is back!
Demonic Pact is a powerful engine for control that allows you to quickly take over the game. Main game plan is to resolve a Pact, bounce it and slowly suffocate the opponent in card advantage.
There are four ways to deal with our Pact: Silumgar's Command, Sultai Charm, Blink of an Eye and countering "You lose the game" with Disallow on your upkeep, leaving the Pact on the board with all 4 modes chosen.
Languish, Sultai Charm, Supreme Will and Censor cover early turns, allowing us to hopefully resolve a t4-5 Pact.
Den Protector is a fine beater, helps by getting back a solution for your Demonic Pact or to just get plain card advantage while Ob Nixilis Reignited provide inevitability.
Dark Petition and Mastermind's Acquisition allow for tutoring either Pacts or Languish, or combo in order to fetch Seasons Past from board. Even a single cast of Seasons Past is enough to put the game out of reach for almost any deck, as you can often replay a Pact and keep your opponent in topdeck mode.
Some notes:
This is the list I run on Paper, and my budget doesn't allow for fetches. Having no fetches results in having to skip cards like Dig Through Time.
Ugin, the Spirit Dragon is a great finisher as it allows us to -X boardwipe, getting rid of Pacts and starting winning by continuous bolting to the face.
