2-3 at Game Day.

Round 1: BG Devotion - Having a lot of the same removal spells available to me as my Devotion opponent was really helpful. I was able to dispatch every threat my opponent played. Gray Merchant of Asphodel hurt a LOT, but Courser of Kruphix and more removal allowed me to regain the life lost while keeping devotion low enough to not die from consecutive Garys (he hit 3). I won with Kiora both games. Reaper of the Wilds performed incredibly well against all the removal. 2-0

Round 2: Boros Devotion - Opponent came out of the gates just way too fast and was able to present too many threats. This match makes me think I need ramp in my deck. Sylvan Caryatid would have been a saving grace both games. 0-2.

Round 3: Monoblack Aggro - Opponent had a bad hand game 1. A Thoughtseize took his Thoughtseize and revealed that the only creature he had was a single Tormented Hero. Put the game away with 2 Courser of Kruphix. Game 2, my opponent ended up with 3 Gnarled Scarhide and 2 Herald of Torment. I played 2 Reaper of the Wilds and a Jace, Architect of Thought, which allowed me to race him easily and the 2 life he was losing per turn gave me a virtual 10 power to his 6. 2-0.

Round 4: Dredge - Game 1, my opponent was able to chip away at me considerably with smaller creatures. I killed just enough of them to not get overwhelmed, and at some point played a Scavenging Ooze. With 4 mana open vs. his 6 lands, I started a little graveyard-counter-war thing to try and exile his Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord from the bin. Since he had a Pharika in play, he sacrificed all but 2 of his lands to get the Jarad to hand in hopes of getting the devotion, at which point I Thoughtseized the Jarad back out of his hand. Ended up winning by swinging with Ooze for a total of about 20 damage over 3 turns. Scavenging Ooze over-performed that game. I didn't see it game 2 or 3, and wasn't able to keep the Nighthowlers and Jarads at bay. Lost 1-2. Reaper of the Wilds gets an honorable mention for faring well against Shadowborn Demon. Hexproof is really nice, but again, this match would have been better if I could have ramped some mana. Decided I want more Scooze and more argument for Caryatid.

Round 5: GR Monsters - This opponent plays a non-traditional build of GR Monsters with 4 maindeck Witchstalker. Game 1, this is a bit tough because it's too big for Drown in Sorrow, and I only have 2 Far / Away. Got rolled by a Witchstalker because I Thoughtseized my opponent early, saw multiple Ghor-Clan Rampager, and couldn't really do anything about them. Game 2, I managed to run off a few Thoughtseize, sac effects, removal spells, and counterspells to kill my opponent with a lone Scavenging Ooze in a tempo game. Game 3 was pretty confusing. I ended up losing a lot of life to my own lands and having to jump through hoops to kill 2 Witchstalker, and only had 1 green source with 2 Courser of Kruphix in hand. Yet another argument for Caryatid. 1-2.

So far, changes are:

Swapping 1 Master of the Feast for Desecration Demon

Shaved a Thoughtseize, Drown in Sorrow, Reaper of the Wilds, and Vraska the Unseen for 4 Sylvan Caratid.
