Sideboard

Well the plan of the deck is quite simple:Play some threats like Delver of Secrets or Quirion Dryad in the first few rounds. And protect them with counters and removal. In my first test matches against my brother this deck worked quite well, although the more expensive rares like Tarmogoyf or Dark Confidant are missing.

I don't really want to spend several thousands of dollars for this deck, but i want it to be competetive enough for my local game store. Do you think that might work, or do you have to buy the more expensive stuff to win some matches?

I don't really have many experiences with sideboarding, so I just tried. Go for the Throat is no good against affinity decks, so i have 4 more spot-removals in the sideboard, which should be good against aggro decks as well. I'm not sure about Damnation but i thought it would be good to have some global removal e.g. against merfolk. The Negate is against control decks and the Krosan Grip should be nice against Aether Vial or Batterskull. Is this sideboard good, or is there a lot of work to do?
