Went 3-0 at FNM. Didn't have any issues with the 3 rounds.
Round 1: Got the Bye. Bought new sleeves and looked at some of the competition.
Round 2: 2-1 vs R/U Prowess. Really didn't have any issues. He would come on strong turn 1-3, but after exiling most of his board, and dropping Thought-Knot or Reality Smasher, the game was over. 2nd Match was a fluke, only drew 2 lands. 3rd followed suite with the 1st.
Round 3: 2-0 vs Abzan CoCo. Not much of an issue here. Kept exiling his board, and swinging with Smasher. I Infinite Obliterated his Rhinos and that was that. He did have some poor CoCo draws. 2nd match, he was able to get 2 Eldrazi Displacers out and kept bouncing to avoid my control. He had Smasher tapped down most of the time, but I was able to get Bearer of Silence out forcing the creature sac and then Utter Ended his other Displacer. Swinging for win 2 turns later.
This put me tied for 1st at the end of our first 3 rounds.
Tie Breaker: 1-2 vs Mardu Dragons. This should of been a pretty good matchup. 1st game, I took over the board with the exile enchantments and was able to take care of most of his dragons. Smashed with Reality Smasher for the win. 2nd game, he Infinite Obliberated my Reality Smasher on turn 3. Leading to a long drawn out affair where he eventually won with the dragons. Game 3, I held the field for most of the game. Was at 12 life, him at 6. He has one Kolaghan, Storm Fury out and I decided to cast Reality Smasher instead of exiling his dragon. Hit him for 5, he Topdecks a Dragonlord Kolaghan and swings for 12. Lesson Learned, control their board before you attack. Especially when it's running combat tricks.
All and all It was a good time, and I'm more excited for gameday than ever.
Changes:
Dropping 1 Duress and moving the remaining 3 to sideboard.
Adding 1 more utter End. 2 Stasis Snares. 1 Silk wrap.
Removing Warping Wail from deck. Removing 1 Sorin.
Adding 4 Read The Bones.
Changed up the sideboard a bit.
Messed around with mana a bit as well.
Gonna playtest with the Read the Bones and see how I feel.
