Forgot to update this! Like two weeks ago I won the 2nd place in a FNM with 16 players! I don't remember everything but I'll try to summarize everything that I remember!
2-1 against a RDW
First match was hard, way too many creatures and ultimately lost to him because I didn't have enough cards to answer his damage! 2nd match was different tho, I had a lot of removal and answers to his cards (I sided a Blind Obedience, 3 Fiendslayer Paladin and 2 Pharika's Cure while I removed expensive cards as I needed more speed), the 2nd game was won and the dude had to mulligan on the 3rd plus I also had a lot of removal and a Thoughtseize.
2-0 against a Esper Control
In both games I had answers to his answers and couldn't control me. He also tried to cast an AEtherling on the first game but didn't have mana to actually "save" him so I just burned it with a Doom Blade. On the second game I had such advantage over him that at some point my Blood Baron of Vizkopa turned into a 10/10 flyer while I still had a Desecration Demon and an Obzedat, Ghost Council in play (and I removed his Supreme Veredict with my Sin Collector and Thoughtseize.
0-2 against a RDW (this dude won the 1st place)
Nothing to do here. It was pretty much the same deck as my first match up but this time I didn't draw enough removals and he got even better cards (I was forced to use Read the Bones and Underworld Connections in tricky moments. The second game was even faster than the first, I was overwhelmed on turn 6.
2-0 against a Colossal Gruul
My deck gave me the needed removal against this deck (plus he was very unlucky drawing cards and had to mulligan on both games), at the same time I had Thoughtseize in both matchs so it was indeed a tricky situation for him since he wasn't able to use his mana combos to cast his monsters in early games!
I ended 2nd in that FNM and only lost against a RDW (which is probably the worst matchup for my deck) and I have to say that I'm really satisfied with how it's performing at the moment. I also made some small changes and I hope they'll help for the next FNM!
