So im coming back into standard after a long break and wanted to play something at FNM's that is somewhat competitive but also not too expensive.

I did some looking and stumbled upon this Deck:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5YAF-alr6AA The problem with that list for me was that it contained cards that will soon rotate out of standard, and would therefore would not be worth spending the extra cash on. So this meant a little bit of brewing was in order!

The idea of the deck is stays the same pretty much, when compared to the original Deck (The Link). the Tactic is to control the board with removal such as Utter End or Ultimate Price, drop threats (pretty much any of the creatures in the list) and swing, pretty simple. other cards that may need some explanation, so:Duress is here because its a good budget pick for Thoughtseize, it works well againt other midrange decks, allowing us to land a creature without the risk of removal. and control decks, it allows us to grab planeswalkers and other high impact spells. And also the rotation is a problem.Citadel Siege and Palace Siege net us value as the game goes long and also activate the Blood-Cursed Knight.

Lastly Mage-Ring Network is trying to build counters and net value with Secure the Wastes post board.
