B/W Teysa, Envoy of Ghosts EDH

Commander / EDH Budget Reanimator WB (Orzhov)

DoctorSaros

It's a pretty budget EDH deck, very fun to play and can pull offf some awesome combos. It's kind of a combination between sac and recur and reanimator; they are after all close cousins.

The new Teysa is good defense, as if anyone attacks you they're losing their creatures and giving you spirits. That alone is pretty sweet, but combine that with Teysa's vigilance and pro-creatures and you have a pretty formidable force. Put Gift of Immortality on her for lulz, or for a big commander hit target her with Liliana's -3. Another great plus for this deck is that you only have to hardcast her once in most instances; if she dies, just put her in the graveyard and reanimate her.

Combos:Trading Post is an awesome card for this deck. It can generate a token to sacrifice, giving it synergy with cards like Grave Pact and Diabolic Intent. Did some jerk just wipe all your creatures? make a goat and sac it for Victimize and note the look on his face. It also is a discard outlet in case you draw one of the big guys before you can hardcast him, with an added bonus of 4 life in the process. It can remove Spine of Ish Sah from the field without waiting for a board wipe, as well as recovering any artifacts you may have lost, and gives you an outlet to sacrifice creatures for Grave Pact, Dictate, and Butcher.

If you open with that godhand of Entomb and a two-cost reanimate card (Animate Dead + Dance of the Dead + Exhume , don't entomb Pathrazer of Ulamog unless you want to be a real jerk and pick on someone you don't like. this is especially true for a game with three or less players. Grave Titan is hilarious to cheat out on turn two, and does not run the risk of causing people to scoop and leave the table.

The black devotion dudes are great. combine Abhorrent Overlord + Gift of Immortality + Grave Pact to get at least 5 harpies every upkeep. Or if you have Gray Merchant of Asphodel out, target him with Gift of Immortality and sacrifice him every upkeep for lulz. in keeping with maximizing these guys' syphon/token output, a majority of the black cards in the deck are double black; hence the emphasis on swamps over plains.

Speaking of Tokens, Grave Titan and/or Abhorrent Overlord make lots of 'em. you can sacrifice them for Ashnod's Altar , giving you tons of mana, or you can scry alot with Viscera Seer, or you can (obviously) throw them under the bus if someone attacks you. It'll get to be board-wipe status against most decks if you have any one of the three cards that make your opponent sacrifice when you lose a creature (Butcher of Malakir + Dictate of Erebos + Grave Pact on the board with a sac outlet and a bunch of tokens.

Treacherous Urge is funny with Grim Return, or any of the animation cards that let you take from your opponents as well.

This deck tells a story. and the moral of that story is TUTORS, TUTORS, TUTORS. This is commander. you can never have too many tutors. just make sure you know what you want and search your deck quickly so you don't hold up the game and piss people off. Fetch what you need; this deck is a toolbox with an answer to a number of things your opponents may throw at you.

So yeah, there's alot of other little synergies and strategies that you'll discover just from playing the deck. I would definitely appreciate some input, as I know it needs work and could use some of those expensive goodcards, but as it stands it's a very viable deck.
