BW tokens splashing blue for Polymorph into Emrakul for a super sweet and fun way to win games unfairly, with a solid fair game-plan as well if you never see it. Here's my version! I know the usual choices for BW tokens, and have cut the usual Sorin, Solemn Visitors and Gideon, Ally of Zendikars in favor of a combo finish instead. This particular version is a little more dedicated to the Emrakul game-plan, running 2x Emrakul to give resilience in case one gets stranded in hand or in Exile to a destroyed Windbrisk Heights (and also to increase the chances of hitting off of Windbrisk Heights).
Some SB card discussion:
The reason for Disenchant in the side over Sundering Growth is that my manabase is pretty greedy, and with turbo-BM being a thing I want to be able to cast it for a single white to deal with Blood Moon.
Pithing Needle in the side comboes well with the hand disruption spells and is an answer to decks that may side in Engineered Explosives, with an alternative option of mana denial if opponent has redundant fetches in hand.
Hour of Reckoning is pretty sweet - being able to board wipe turn 4 against wide decks is really helpful, and can help a ton vs tribal decks in particular, which are pretty prevalent in my local meta.
The 2x Timely in the board should come in vs just about any creature deck, especially if they want to attack you and deal damage. It makes enough tokens to enable windbrisk in a single card and is the best card in the deck in many matchups. I found too many MD to be a little rough though as sometimes you hit 2 against tron or control and hate life, and now that I'm running 4x Raise the Alarm I think they take a further hit into being less universally good, as I am a little faster to getting creatures to the board. Still, BW tokens traditionally has a hard time against decks that go big fast (like some of the company decks) and a T2 Intangible Virtue into T3 Timely is one of the strongest possible starts vs those decks. This would be 4-of MD if there weren't so many creatureless (or very late-creature-only) decks around.
Some alternate card choices I've tried but aren't in the current build:
Bitterblossom - it's great and I may try it again at some point, but burn is heavy in my local meta and since I don't run Sorin or Gideon, I like having Honor of the Pure as anthem #5, which wouldn't hit BB tokens. I also can't use Sorin or Auriok Champion to offset the life-loss from BB, which really does add up, especially with the painful 3-color manabase and the 4x Thoughtseize I run to help deal with my combo-heavy meta (Thoughtseize also protects my own combo - I run it out the turn before I try to Poly I can pull their removal and see if the coast is clear). All added up, BB is a solid card but isn't part of the current build for those reasons. Additional upside to the alternative Raise the Alarm in the 2-slot is that instant speed works very well with the combo (Raise on their end step after they tap out thinking they're clear, then Poly on your turn), and there aren't many good instant speed token producers.
Brave the Elements - Leading with Brave the Elements the turn you want to Poly can clear the way for a surer thing, but I found that I'd rather just have another inquisition/thoughtseize, which ultimately accomplishes the same thing, but more flexibly helping you not die if you aren't comboing. Brave is Good but the fact that it HAS to be the same turn makes Poly a 5-drop instead of a 4-drop, which is a big deal. It's probably fine and does double as removal on defense in some cases, but I cut it for another Inquisition/Thoughtseize since I think it plays a bit better with the combo and turn progression.
Liliana of the Veil - Originally I ran 3 LoTV as an extra source of control and discard outlet alongside a single Emrakul. The 3-drop slot is extremely crowded in this deck though and ultimately I decided to cut Lily and just run a second Emrakul to be a little more resilient to having the first one get stranded somewhere (like under a Ghost Quartered Windbrisk Heights, or in hand despite 7 discard outlets).
Midnight Haunting - I am still a bit back and forth between Midnight Haunting and Spectral Procession in this deck. Being so much more white-intensive can be awkward at times and instant speed is a real upside vs control decks that wipe you at sorcery speed, but getting 3 tokens from a single card is a big game with 4 Windbrisk Heights that could singlehandedly end the game, so I'm currently on Spectrals. Against super creature-heavy metas, reducing Spectrals and Midnight haunting for more Timely Reinforcements is also a very solid option.
Painful Truths - I tried this as a 2-of at one point and did like it sometimes but ended up cutting to just replace with extra token producers. 3-drops are limited and it's just so much slower than having an extra spectral in hand instead. It's good vs control if you need the card advantage, but I think I like the more proactive current version better.
Sorin, Gideon - our 4+ slots are already full, otherwise I'd probably run Sorins first and then Gideons. They're very good, but the whole point of this version is that instead of these, we play Emrakul for an alternate, unfair win condition.
All the BW Tokens value creatures are unplayable in this version, as Emrakul has to be our only creature in deck to hit off Polymorph. So no Hero of Bladehold, Tidehollow Sculler (although I think he's kinda bad anyway), Mirran Crusader, or Auriok Champions in this version.
