ATTENTION -- if anyone knows any cheap, modern-legal, or even better, standard-legal fetch lands, do tell! Thanks! :D

This deck focuses on getting out Garruk, Caller of Beasts out ASAP and casting as many Worldspine Wurm as possible (ideally, all four). This will be achieved by casting 6 Shadowborn Apostle and sacrificing them, to get Rune-Scarred Demon and THEN get Garruk, Caller of Beasts. For removal, I have Doom Blade as it is cheap for a card that destroy almost any creature (Murder in sideboard, in case you're playing against a black deck), and Putrefy because it is the second best removal of this kind (only one extra mana, removes all creatures and artifacts). Even though I only have one Garruk, Caller of Beasts he is still quite easy to draw. Once I control six Shadowborn Apostle I will be able to pay B, sacrifice them and cast Rune-Scarred Demon and when it enters the battlefield, I will search for Garruk and put him in my hand. I am not going to buy more Garruks, because I simply cannot afford it.

As with all my decks, please suggest cards that do the same as a card already in this deck, but for less mana! Or, if you have any card suggestions, they are also very welcome! I hope you like this deck. :)

Updates Add

I swapped all four Terramorphic Expanse for four Golgari Guildgate. I did this because I realised that fetch lands are not very important in dual-colour decks and that I should focus more on duel lands. I also put all four Lead the Stampede in the Maybeboard and put four more Shadowborn Apostle in their place, simply because it is not as important and drawing many Apostles.

First test with a proxy deck tomorrow. I'll tell you how it goes!
