Can centaurs be competitive? (Standard MTG Deck)

Based on Centaur raiders this is centaur deck designed to ramp up centaurs with Obelisk of Urd, Pheres-Band Warchief, Ajani, Mentor of Heroes and Ordeal of Heliod. Bow of Nylea adds devotion, deathtouch when attacking as well as buffing and lifegain. Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx adds mana ramp as the centaurs pile on. Testing and feedback is welcome. Any suggestions for improvement would be greatly appreciated.

Been a while since looking at this deck, decided to change the approach, use early turns to burn opponents early creatures, set up hall/bow and/or courser then deploy the centaurs using fanatics tribute, pheres band warchief and xenagos god of revels to evade burn and pump them up for big damage. Sideboard mainly targeting aggro/removal builds.
