Won Game Day after scraping into the top 8 by a narrow margin (I was paired up in round 5 against an opponent on 7 points, leaving me the highest-ranked player on 9 after I won).

First round of Top 8 was against a Jeskai Tokens deck that had beaten me in the swiss. This time I had a better idea of what to side in, and a combination of Secure the Wastes and Brutal Hordechief won the day.

Semi final was against a Temur deck running Stormbreath Dragon, Thunderbreak Regent and Dragonlord Atarka alongside the usual G/R Dragons ramp suite, but with additional counterspell backup and two copies of Kiora, the Crashing Wavefoil. Dragon Hunter held off the Thunderbreaks long enough for me to win game 1 on a single point of life. Game 2 wasn't quite so close: between Sorin's +1 and Brutal Hordechief's triggers, I ended the game on 45 life. Hordechief's activated ability was a huge boon here.

The final match was against an Esper control deck that had defeated another BW Warriors build in the semis. Blood-Chin Rager made short work of game 1, as it doesn't matter how big your dragon is when it can't block alone. Game 2 was won by a combination of Sorin, Solemn Visitor and a timely Ultimate Price on an Icefall Regent that was about to wipe my board due to Silumgar, the Drifting Death's trigger.
