Keranos has gathered the best spellslingers throughout the multiverse to do the one thing a proper wizard is supposed to: to storm off like a maniac. Luckily, recent years have been kind for our lightning-loving friends. Cards like Thousand-Year Storm and Sentinel Tower are just a few of the synergistic examples.

The extensive counter package is there for both protection and for Baral, Chief of Compliance. Cards like Murmuring Mystic can win the came almost alone, while you can always just cheese yourself to victory with Jace, Wielder of Mysteries. It should be noted, though, that this deck can also "do nothing" in the most powerful way possible. Try surgically removing opponents one by one when they least expect it. Or just kill each and every one of them with a few-times-copied Fiery Confluence.

Note: In our local play group we have banned Sol Ring, so if you want to copy this deck, you might want to include it.
