Chainer is a fun and underplayed commander in mono black. This deck is all about recurring creatures from your graveyard and taking advantage of ETB or static effects. This deck is great a keeping opponents board clean of creatures with several board wipes, targetted removal and recurable effects like Fleshbag Marauder. If opponents end up with powerful creatures in their graveyard, Chainer, Dementia Master can bring them to his side to take advantage of them!

The normal win comes from producing ridiculous amounts of mana with either Crypt Ghast, Magus of the Coffers or Cabal Stronghold and dumping it in a Drain Life or Exsanguinate. Gray Merchant of Asphodel works great too, in combination with one of the many sac outlets and Chainer, Dementia Master to recur him enough times to suck the life out of everyone at the table.

Liliana's Contract is a pretty achievable alternate win condition as well given the number of demons in the deck and the recurring potential. If all else fails, big beaters Demonlord Belzenlok,Reaper from the Abyss,Reiver Demon,Vilis, Broker of Blood and others will do the trick to hammer down the life total of all those opposing the nightmare creations of Chainer!
