A Rowan commander deck. The goal is to lose a bunch of life in a single turn, then cast a huge card like Exsanguinate. On a medium budget, which is why there’s no shocks, fetches, torment of hailfire, or Plague of Vermin

Notable Life loss outlets:

Wall of Blood is an incredibly efficient way to throw your life away. Just paying one life as many times as you like can be the best effect in the deck.

Souldrinker and Doom Whisperer are all similar to wall of blood as free lifeloss outlets, but are slightly more inconvenient as they can only pay in multiples of two or three. Greed is fine as it essentially lets you pay one mana for two mana later.

Asmodeus the Archfiend basically griselbrand, but with even more upside in this deck.

Notable Mana outlets:

Storm King's Thunder lets you copy whatever comes next a bunch of times.

Not only does Exsanguinate let you sink your Rowan discount into it, but it gives you back three times that much!

Crackle with Power is the king of big burn spells. Cast it for a big x value and try to one shot the board. Bond of Agony seems like it was made for this deck.

Other notable cards:

Vilis, Broker of Blood is just so ridiculous in this deck. It draws you so many cards and even functions as a lifeloss outlet too.

With all of the direct damage spells, Hostility lets you convert that damage into something more permanent.
