This is not a port of RUG Tempo to Modern. But it is another deck that exhibits my slightly unhealthy RUG fetish.

Sorry. Anyway, this deck is more like the RUG Cascade list in legacy. It uses Isochron Scepter and Bloodbraid Elf to abuse modal or split spells. It's quite versatile, but weak, unfortunately, to Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker. I'll figure out some things to board in.

Anyway, key, unique cards are Izzet Charm and Research/Development. Besides that, the deck is basically tempo goodstuff. The only anti-synergies are with the singleton Mana Leaks and Remands. Assault/Battery is just in there for fun. If there's something stronger, please suggest it. I'm looking for any suggestions that help the deck against tier decks or just make the deck run more smoothly in general.
