Just tried making a Theros only deck using both blue and white. I tried focusing on the heroic abilities of the white creatures, while using blue to defend these. Any feedback is great.

Basically the strategy is to use the enhancements and instants such as Divine Favor and Dauntless Onslaught on Battlewise Hoplite, Fabled Hero and Phalanx Leader (preferably as this gives other creatures +1/+1). Aqueous Form is a great card to enchant these heroic creatures, as it means they become unblockable especially when they have a lot of counters attached to them. Frontline Medic is a good finish off, as it gives all attacking creatures +1/+1 (attacking with two or more creatures).

I'm hoping to use the control cards as a form of delaying the opponent from gaining a board authority from turns 3-6 so I can lay the foundations of a strong attack and then bring in a powerful, high mana finisher to round it off end game. Voyagers End is great to use early if possible, basically taking back the opponents turn, allowing you to take the lead. This can be used in many circumstances, such as removing a defending card while attacking, or saving your own creature. This is also similar to Azorius Charm which has a similar ability. Medomai the Ageless ability allows you to have an extra turn if it deals damage, a massive advantage. This together with Aqueous Form will allow you to attack with little worry of being blocked.

Overall the blue cards are designed to allow the creatures to snowball while also disallowing the other player to do damage.
