Well, just in time for the Christmas season, I have managed to hit the 100 card mark for my Stonebrow EDH deck. It's nice to know that I have one now, even if it might be sub-par. Never really played Commander before, so I'm not sure how well I did. Any advice would be appreciated. Also, if you wish to advise on card choices, imagine there is no budget. I think I'm going to be working on this deck for a while to come.

I've also been playing some games with my meta now, and I've learned one key element. Most of the guys that regularly play EDH do so quite casually. So, I really don't want to be trying to make something over the top with all sorts of infinite combos. As such, for now, I'm removing them (and moving them over to my other EDH deck)

Despite the lack of infinite combos, there still are some nice ones to be found. Key combos are as follows:

Hydra Omnivore + Wurmweaver Coil + Wild Defiance + Invigorate + Assault Strobe

By having Wild Defiance in play, I can play Hydra Omnivore one turn, followed by casting Wurmweaver Coil onto it the next turn, using the new mana to cast Assault Strobe, use the manaless cast ability on Invigorate, swing at someone with no blockers and 22 health, and win the game.

Hydra Omnivore + Wurmweaver Coil + Wild Defiance + Invigorate + Assault Strobe + Yeva, Nature's Herald

Basically the same as before, but Yeva, Nature's Herald will let me sneak in the Hydra Omnivore just before my turn, to minimize risk.

Christmas Wurms has enjoyed a major refit following the Gatecrash Pre-release event. Minor changes are expected still over the course of the next few weeks, but since this single change saw the swap of 20 cards, a full fifth of the deck, I felt it worthy of a full fledged update.

The mana curve, thankfully, is greatly adjusted to a much nicer flow centered around 2 CMC, rather than the previous curve which seemed to spike at 3 CMC and then really have no clue what it was doing afterward. There are still some cards I want to see about adding in, namely Skarrg Goliath, Borborygmos Enraged, Gruul Charm, and Gruul Keyrune, but I am pleased with this turn of events.
