Clerics are a fun tribe but they typically rely on big angels and demons to do their dirty work so making a deck revolving around the cleric creature type can be a bit tricky. I am running 42 creatures and all of them with the exception of Sun Titan, Archangel of Thune, and Heliod, God of the Sun have the cleric creature type.

Let's take a look at the different creature packages in the deck:

n
Tymna the Weaver is our primary source of card draw in the deck and we will want to play her as early as soon as we have some of our Jehovah's witnesses out there to start knocking on my opponent's metaphorical front doors. Alms Collector + Mangara, the Diplomat will draw us cards as we collect penance for our opponent's misdeads. Bygone Bishop is out there doing background checks on the congregation I guess. Priest of Forgotten Gods can be included in my removal package as well as being a useful sac outlet and mana producer. She really does it all. Weathered Wayfarer is huge for either assembling Cabal Coffers + Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth , getting us utility lands like Vault of the Archangel, Starlit Sanctum, ETC. Twilight Prophet is like a bigger and better Dark Confidant for our deck. I think the card speaks for itself beyond that.
n
False Prophet We try and keep this guy locked up in the basement for emergency purposes only but I do think it is worth noting that we can sacrifice our whole team to Phyrexian Altar or Ashnod's Altar and then sacrifice this guy to exile the board which sets us up well for a big Patriarch's Bidding or Living Death. Just keep in mind that he doesn't exile himself, so he could become a liability in our mass recursion plan. Bishop of Binding is our favorite answer to big titans and eldrazi, and he is the only one of the Oblivion Ring Clerics that made it past my recent cuts. Blind Zealout is a reusable targeted removal effect that pairs well with our recursion package. Custodi Lich and Cabal Executioner are reusable edict effects. Kor Sanctifiers and Reliquary Monk for artifact and enchantment removal. High Priest of Penance "All I require is faith, loyalty, obediance, trust, and complete and utter devotion" Sin Collector to get that darn Cyclonic Rift out of their hands. Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim since we try to gain a lot of life in this deck and premium removal on 2-drop is just, Mmm, clerics are so good.
n
Sun Titan, Bishop of Rebirth, and Custodi Soulcaller really get the wheels turning on our value machine. Roughly 80% of our creatures cost 3 mana or less. Sun Titan can also get lands which is relevant or our -Necropotence if necessary. Doomed Necromancer for getting back a big boyz. Ravos, Soultender basically draws us an extra card each turn since we always have a poor dead preacher or two in the grave by the time we are casting Ravos.
n
Speaker of the Heavens is insane. Thank you WotC for this cleric bomb. Heliod, God of the Sun and Hanweir Militia Captain   make cleric tokens. Priest of the Blood Rite which when paired with a sac outlet and Ravos can mean a 5/5 flyer each turn for 5 mana. Rotlung Reanimator just pure awesomeness. Sac the board, make a bunch of zombies, then Patriarch's Bidding to get everything back? Seems sweet. Also he just generates free tokens since we already sac our dudes a lot to various effects.
n
Mother of Runes and Giver of Runes because even priests have moms. Frontline Medic to protect our Jehovah's witnesses while they do the lord's work. Battletide Alchemist and Edgewalker could be considered payoffs but I am putting them here since they don't contribute directly to killing our opponent's. Grand Abolisher really doesn't look like a cleric imo and probably lied on his resume but we rollin with it. Planar Guide can either protect our board, or flicker our whole team when we go for our finishing package which I will mention at the end!
n
Okay so we have a bunch of clerics, now what? Well now Vile Deacon and Doubtless One are huge threats! Victory's Envoy can effectively add 10 or more power to the board each turn. Mirror Entity is our combat-based finisher if our main win condition falls through.

And lastly, the primary win condition of the deck! The finishing package, which may surprise you!

n
We have some nice soulful ladies: Soul's Attendant, Soul Warden, Auriok Champion, and Suture Priest and our goal is to get a few of these onto the battlefield or graveyard, and use Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and/or Archangel of Thune to turn that life gain into damage. Casting Living Death for example, with Archangel of Thune and a few soul sisters in the graveyard will often result in me reanimating 8-10 creatures and each of those creatures getting stacked up with enough +1/+1 counters to end the game. Alternatively, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose can give our whole team lifelink which is effectively doublestrike with second half of the damage being unblockable targeted life loss. Or just having him in play alongside a big Doubtless One which doesn't actually have the lifelink keyword on it.
