This is the Innistrad: Midnight Hunt Commander Preconstructed deck with some tweaking as I figure out what the right balance of value to flexibility is. There's very strong internal synergy as you build your boardstate, and the longer you can go without having anything killed, the better; at the same time, you can ramp your manabase very quickly, so a boardwipe will usually favour you, if you can time it correctly or refill your hand. I usually default to Leinore, Autumn Sovereign as my Commander for the fairly reliable card draw, but I've found success with an aggressive strategy based around Kyler, Sigardian Emissary as well, and Katilda, Dawnhart Prime seems like she would work fairly well if you're up against a lot of land hate.

In the Maybeboard is all the cards I've pulled out of the precon for various reasons, as well as any cards I've got lying around that I think might have a place in this. Typically I'm looking for a Human who either Creates or Does Something With Counters. You wind up with quite a bit of mana, I've noticed, so I tossed some mana dumps in there that benefit the strategy by either letting you get wider or taller, depending on your opponent (and your luck). The density of interaction typically means you wind up with some sort of win-con if you can get two or three creatures to stick, and you can usually cast at least a couple of creatures every turn after turn three.

There's a number of cards, both in the Main- and Maybeboards, in here that I'm not sure of; this is very much a living deckbuild. Fog is a great stall, and sometimes you need to stall combat for a turn, but is it valuable enough to the strategy to put in the deck full-time? Elspeth, Sun's Nemesis can be very powerful, especially if you can Escape her a couple of times, and Ajani, the Greathearted can do some real work by making all your creatures vigilant and distributing counters, but should either of them live in the default Mainboard? Enduring Scalelord is incredibly powerful all on its own, but since it isn't a Human, it is all on its own. Biogenic Upgrade makes a lot of counters. There's a lot of decisions I've made that were informed more by outright guesswork than any sort of real data, unfortunately.
