Fair Ghave, Guru of Spores deck. Light combos. Light Tutors. Strong cards.

My playgroup is a strong, but non-competitive group. We don't like infinite combos or I win cards unless the opponents get a full round of turns to respond or we are already in the end game (turn 10ish).

This deck focuses on early ramp and value creatures, and end game value engines and anthem finishers. For removal it has a strong core of the best cheep instant speed removal and removal on a stick. There is also a strong recursion theme gaining value out of the graveyard.

For combos it includes:

Karmic Guide + Reveillark and a sac outlet: Yawgmoth, Thran Physician or Viscera Seer .

Mikaeus, the Unhallowed + Yawgmoth, Thran Physician or Yawgmoth, Thran Physician and two undying creatures.

Add in Blood Artist or Cruel Celebrant for same turn kill.

If the deck needs to be powered down I remove the two free sac outlets or two blood artists. I add in something from the "maybe board" depending on what I'm facing.

If it needs to be powered up I add in Earthcraft Ashnod's Altar Phyrexian Altar , more tutors Vampiric Tutor Diabolic Intent , and protection Silence Veil of Summer Ranger-Captain of Eos . I also sometimes add in the Sun Titan package Fiend Hunter Necromancy Animate Dead . I replace the higher cmc cards and depending on speed add in more mana dorks.

The deck is also weak to flyers, so if my opponents have a flying theme, I sub in some of my maybe board to get flyers/reach in play.
