Sideboard

Bare with me as this is my first deck posting here.

I built this deck because I like the aspects of control, and I love the aspects of burn. So I built this deck so that I could have all of that in one deck. I like pushing the tempo in my favor while slowing down the opposing player, making them wonder what in the hell I've got coming for them.

I use Detention Sphere, Supreme Verdict, to control the more powerful creatures, planeswalkers, enchantments and other spells on the board, while using burn cards Lightning Strike and Magma Jet to take down smaller critters and hit my opponent in the face.

Boros Charm is there for potential game-ending burn, but more for its versatility in protecting my permanents and dealing double damage in the late game for other potential win-conditions.

I use counterspells like Dissolve to possibly negate anything coming my way, and sided in Essence Backlash to disrupt that big creature coming out and making my opponent pay for it by tapping and losing life. By turn 5, I should be able to drop an Assemble the Legion to start another win-condition.

Putting in 2 Keranos, God of Storms to help gain card advantage and hopefully deal at least 3 damage each turn. Then there's my last win-condition, Elspeth, Sun's Champion, to produce tokens for chump blocking and eventually overwhelming my opponent, and also dealing with huge creatures that my opponent may get out.

Hope you all like my deck, please feel free to rate and give me any suggestions you think would make it even better!
