Counter, Tap, Remove, Coax, Eldrazi!

Standard Mono-Blue

PhoenixKing12

Sideboard

An almost finished mono blue control deck. The goal is to counter, remove, and tap my way to a favorable board state, then Coax a giant elrazi from the sideboard! The four eldrazi each have their own unique abilities that are useful against certain decks. Ulamog works against agro, Emrakul for control, Void Winnower against tokens and Elder Deep-Fiend against decks with low amounts of creatures. If anyone has a replacement for my Prism Rings, I'd love to hear suggestions. Only requirement is it must be an artifact.

Game One: Loss in three games against B/R vampires. Most of my creature were burnt out before they could do anything. Game two was won with Ulamog, Game three I couldn't find a Docent or Niblis to stop his flyers. Game Two: Win in two games against my step brothers prototype for W/U control deck. It's still in the early stages so I won't say much more. Game Three: Win in three games against a R/W token deck. His main win con was Ormendahl Profane Prince, which was easy to return to hand with an unsubstantiated. Game Four: Loss in three to Bant CoCo. First game was a lucky win. He couldn't draw any mana. Game two and three both ended rather quickly. Game Five: Loss in three games against B/G ramp. Fustrating loss. I was unable to draw an identity tief or Imrisson in the moon to deal with his eldrazi. Biggst issues: Ramp, Eldrazi and CoCo. Biggest gains: Sideboarding strategy
