I really like Elspeth Resplendent a lot, she's probably one of my favorite planeswalkers to come out in a while. She slots in well as a single copy or a two-of in a lot of decks, but I wanted to see if there was a way to really make her shine. The answer to that question seems to be counters.

Nearly every card in our deck is able to be hit with Elspeth's minus, and our ultimate gameplan (assuming we don't just roll over the opponent with massive creatures) is to very, very quickly get Simic Ascendancy to 20 and win.

The sideboard contains a few wraths, some more removal, some counterspells, and some graveyard hate.
