Inspired originally by the top Ghave deck on the site, this is my paper list of Ghave. Its gradually getting some of the more expensive cards but cards like Earthcraft and fast mana are out of reach for the time being. Its gradually getting there. (Edit 04/2021: rip earthcraft prices)

The game plan: Ghave combos with so many things in convoluted ways, getting enough pieces and parts on the board will usually combo off to some capacity. Yawgmoth serves as an enabler to combos, and can actually function in combos without ghave when setup right.

Most combos go like this: Ghave, free sac outlet (preferably one that makes us mana), a source of +1/+1 counters, and a pinger. One example of this is Ghave, Guru of Spores, Ashnod's Altar, Good-Fortune Unicorn, and Blood Artist.

Step 1: Pay 1 to remove a counter from a creature to make a saproling that enters with an additional counter. Step 2: Pay 1 to remove the counter from the saproling, making a second saproling which enters with an additional +1/+1 counter. Step 3: Sacrifice the first saproling to ashnod's altar to generate 2 mana, use this mana to repeat steps 2 and 3. Each time you sacrifice a saproling it drains your opponents' life totals and bolsters your own. There are a plethora variations of this with different cards and more complex variants but that is the simplest one to explain.

Overall the deck is running a lot of recursion to protect our combo pieces and tutors that allow us to find our pieces and parts that we need to win. This deck is not as explosive as some decks, since ghave takes time to get out, but is great at surprising a win when people don't expect it. Most of the pieces and parts are not very mana intensive, so the important thing is to get ghave out as he is our main enabler.
