This deck started as a 'Swell the host' deck. It revolves around getting as much 1/1 counters on creatures as possible.

The most important deviations from StH are:

• There are more ways to get shroud/hexproof. Give Ezuri shroud/hexproof ASAP.

• There are more ways to get a lot of creatures on the board fast (Symbiotic creatures, Mongrel pack, Mitotic slime, etc.).

• Although Ezuri is, of course, the key card, there are also other ways to grow strong without Ezuri (e.g. if Ezuri has returned to the command zone often).

• There are more ways to finish the game. The deck contains quite a lot flying/unblockable creatures that can deal a lot of damage with enough 1/1 counters.
