My attempt at a somewhat budget modern deck, which I would very like feedback for. It's not competitve (I am very unfamiliar with the format) but I would like some idea of whether it could be. Obviously its Bloodchief Ascension/Mindcrank aggro/combo, with Rakdos Cackler and Goblin Guide supplying beats in two-life increments, while Bump in the Night, Lightning Bolt, Sign in Blood and Blightning can also set up counters and kill the opponent once the combo engine is set up.
And before anyone mentions it, yes. I did consider Dark Confidant; he would kick ass in this deck thanks to its low mana costs and potential to bring out more burn cards and combo pieces. But he's too goddamn expensive!
