Who needs creature cards when you can just borrow your opponents? This is a deck that revolves around non creature spells, but still gets creatures through act of treason and raise the alarm. These in turn boosts cards like myth realized, goblin-slide and Monastery mentor, which then give us more tokens.

Then we come to the main theme of this deck, Sacrificing. Ideally you want to sac your opponents creatures after you act of Treason them, but tokens serve to make sure there is always something to sac even against another non creature deck. Butcher of the Horde and collateral damage are the main sacrificers.
