Crosis has emerged once again from prison in the tar pits of Urborg, and he is thirsty for revenge!

Note: This deck is still a theory-craft, and still takes the form of a rough list of cards that might make the final cut for the deck.

Crosis has a bone to pick with everyone, so he put together all the malicious, evil stuff he could find that shares his mana colors to unleash his wrath upon all who stand before him. He has found powerful allies who think like him to help him along the way, including Mogis, Erebos, Kaervek, Silumgar, Ob Nixilis, Unshackled, Ob Nixilis Reignited, and Niv-Mizzet. Many individuals have united to one common goal: to punish those who would stop them from rising to power. Even Nicol Bolas has deigned to step in and help Crosis reach his goals, even if it's for his own selfish reasons.

Thematic rambling aside, this is hopefully going to be a fun (for me, anyway) cruel control deck with discard and enchantment subthemes. The formula is beefy creatures, discarders that are worth the card stock they're printed on (Painful Quandary, Pain Magnification, Dire Undercurrents), hateful spells for ruining what other players want to do, a few ways to sneak Crosis's attacks through, and many other lovely spells in color.

This deck will most likely get immediate hate from the whole table. It must be prepared to deal with that and still be able to rain on everyone's parades. The main way it answers hate is by using targeted removal spells on troublesome creatures or countermagic on spells that interfere with its affairs. There are also a few board wipes, but those that affect all players, not just opponents, should be reserved for when the losses are acceptable. There are a few board wipes that only affect opponents as well, like Cyclo Rift and Plague Wind. Notably, almost every creature in this deck won't die to the cycle effect of Decree of Pain without other damage or toughness reduction, so that effect is mostly one-sided.
