Basic concept here is as follows. Blood Artist, Suture Priest, and Falkenrath Noble act as life funnels, combo'ing each time a creature enters the battlefield or dies. This will shut down simic, flicker/blink, token, and most reanimate decks. It is also really useful against lifegain decks.

Tokens are generated by way of Alliance of Arms, which is most useful when cast turn 5-6 or once Crypt Ghast is out. Four of Alliance of Arms is pretty necessary for this deck to operate smoothly. Abhorrent Overlord puts out a bunch of tokens and also forces a sac on each of your upkeep steps, which combos nicely with Dictate of Erebos if Cartel Aristocrat isn't out, If you run out of tokens, it's probably possible to use Rise of the Dark Realms to get some more bodies onto the field. Remember the threat is usually more powerful than the act of doing damage. Build up as needed, pace yourself.

Cartel Aristocrat acts as a creature-based, free sacrifice engine. Sheoldred, Whispering One forces your opponents to sacrifice creatures and helps you bring back creatures. Consider sac'ing Abhorrent Overlord and bringing him back for even more tokens. Both combo with Dictate of Erebos really well to keep your opponent's field cleared.

Diabolic Tutor is being run as a pair for utility. It can really save your ass if your opponent gets rid of some of your foundation by way of creature or enchantment removal.
