This deck is mostly about drawing the big creatures and having the land to drop them. The amount of scry in this deck does that amazingly well, so long as there is 2 or 3 lands in my opening hand I never find myself missing a land drop. Obviously since you will be scrying away a lot of spells in favour of finding lands, draw is needed to give the deck fuel, where I have found that Scroll Thief + an Aqueous Form makes for a very dominating combo. This will give you a nearly garenteed draw and give you the option to draw a different card if you don't want the first. (Ofcouse you can also use a Bident of Thassa to give another creature the same ability)

The focus on scry has made this deck a prime place for Flamespeaker Adept to make a home. Thus some nasty combos are available even early game, an adept plus an aqueous formed thief/stealer can be quiet threating especially if you can follow up with another scry such as a Dissolve, Magma Jet or a Stormcaller of Keranos proc.

The Adept may be fun and powerfull early on but it's best ability is to soak up the enemy's removal and blockers for when we drop one of the three end game creatures that are the true power of this deck. Dropping Molten Primordial or Shipbreaker Kraken on turn 7 always creates havoc on the board.
