River of Tears -> Yavimaya Coast (consistency preference)

Massacre -> Pyroclasm (these two go back and forth as the meta shifts)

Reap -> Regrowth (consistency preference)

Ashiok, Dream Render -> As Foretold (I don't actually think Ashiok is that great of a card if she can't be defended. I don't want to play Vial smasher without Curiosity / Keen Sense, and I don't want to play Thrasios without Training Grounds / Seedborn Muse unless I need to block Tymnas. She's not advancing my game plan and her minus ability is low value. As Foretold is a strong threat if left unchecked in our long games. Also helps against Back to Basics, Blood Moon, Magus of the Moon, and Choke. But it is also kind of in here as a spicy pet card.)

Compost -> Mindblade Render (consistency preference and Tymna blocker)

Grafdigger's Cage -> Counterbalance (Grafdigger's does nothing for me so I'd rather have counterspells which can at least protect my combo attempts. Counterbalance puts in work in my known meta with low curves and long, conservative games. It's also a spicy pet card.)

Runic Armasaur -> Training Grounds (consistency preference, from experience Training Grounds draws way more cards)

Veil of Summer -> Vexing Shusher (I don't think Veil should be in the stock list. It's better suited for proactive combo decks. Vexing Shusher is a house, allowing me to protect other player's counters without using cards, and pushing my combo through.)

Bloom Tender -> Gilded Drake (it's an expensive dork that wants my commanders in play to reach its ceiling. I wrath a lot in this meta so I'd rather have a solid piece of interaction. Gilded Drake is great to get back my Curious Smasher, or maybe take a Tymna, Zur, Seedborn Muse, etc.)

Preordain -> Red Elemental Blast (with London mulligan I haven't felt the need for this weak cantrip to smooth out opening hands. REB hits Flash, based-Jace, Gilded Drakes aimed at my Curious Smasher, counters, Zur, etc.)
Gilded Drake -> Runic Armasaur (Nobody has Draked my Curious Smasher yet, and the meta has gotten creature heavy enough to run the dino again.)

Mindblade Render -> Oakhame Adversary (pretty much an upgrade)

Pyroclasm -> Kozilek's Return (This is a concession to Meta Pod whose combo is scarier than just shutting down Tymna / dorks for resource disparity.)

Dig Through Time -> Force of Vigor (Maybe it's bad to cut cantrips but I haven't missed them. Right now I'm afraid of Back to Basics, Blood Moon, Magus of the Moon, and Choke.)

Fiery Islet -> Island (Right now I'm afraid of Back to Basics, Blood Moon, Magus of the Moon, and Choke.)
Isochron Scepter -> Thassa's Oracle (This wincon uses the same pieces as based-Jace and is immune to removal.)

Dramatic Reversal -> Spell Pierce (Dead card swapped to something that fights Flash, Thassa's Oracle, Tainted Pact, etc.)

As Foretold -> Negate (Removing a slow grindy card for more control. My meta has sped up.)

Runic Armasaur -> Drown in the Loch (Removing a slow grindy card for more control. My meta has sped up.)

Tarnished Citadel -> Nurturing Peatland (I've been cutting Tarnished in a lot of lists lately... a bolt per mana is steep compared to paying life for cards.)
Kozilek's Return -> Electrickery (I'm lowering my curve by running some cheap dorks, and this is asymmetrical for a cheaper cost.)

Flame Sweep -> Bloom Tender (My meta doesn't demand as many sweepers, so I can afford more ramp.)

Chain of Vapor -> Cyclonic Rift (C.Rift almost never gets overloaded so I'm trimming the curve.)

Regrowth -> Underworld Breach (Solid upgrade in most cases.)

Dimir Signet -> Arbor Elf (Lowering my curve.)

Pact of Negation -> Dark Confidant (I hate Pact in a reactive deck. 5 mana is so much. Swap for a broken draw engine.)

Sensei's Divining Top -> Mystical Dispute (Cutting a grindy card for cheap interaction.)

Copy Artifact -> Nature's Lore (Avoids Null Rod, guaranteed to make colors, it's an experimental tweak.)
Azra Oddsmaker -> Wavebreak Hippocamp (Technically I'm dropping card advantage for cantripping, but that's good enough. It's like a Rashmi that costs G less. In certain sense, Dark Confidant makes 1 spell cantrip per turn cycle, and Azra makes 1 cast cantrip and 1 rummage, but Hippocamp makes up to 3 casts cantrip per turn cycle.)

Narset's Reversal -> Veil of Summer (Spending UU to snag a tutor isn't really where I want to be. G counter and cantrip and hexproof is great, even if I'm not proactive.)

Sygg, River Cutthroat -> Runic Armasaur (Great against Kenrith and Thrasios, better blocker, and Sygg was an incentive to swing at me instead of the Ad Naus players.
