Sultai Emerge:
Disclaimer: This is the first iteration of the deck. I will do testing to see how it feels, and update when I see fit. Any suggestions on improvements would be greatly appreciated.
This deck revolves around casting Elder Deep-Fiend (and Distended Mindbender to a lesser extent) for cheap, and as early as turn 3. Elder Deep-Fiend is a very versatile card that allows us to tap down our opponent's creatures, artifacts, and even lands to create a pseudo Time Walk effect. The ability is on the cast trigger, so counters won't help them escape from being locked down.
The deck utilizes easily recurring creatures like Haunted Dead in tandem with Prized Amalgam to be used as emergence sacrifice fodder. We can easily pitch these cards into the graveyard with creatures like Stitcher's Supplier and spells like Grisly Salvage. We can easily filter through our deck to find our Elder Deep-Fiends this way, and with delirium active, we have a 1 mana tutor for it in Traverse the Ulvenwald.
You may notice that the deck runs Kozilek's Return, which it can't cast. This is because we can very easily put it into the graveyard and activate its ability whenever we cast either of our big eldrazi. It's a dead card in hand, but very rarely are we unable to pitch it to the graveyard where it's actually useful.
A magical Christmas land start would be as follows:
Turn 1 - Overgrown Tomb into Stitcher's Supplier. Haunted Dead and two Prized Amalgams hit the bin.
Turn 2 - Return Haunted Dead to the battlefield (this can be at instant speed on their turn if you so please), and any Prized Amalgam returns at the next end step. At some point Stitcher's Supplier dies and fills the bin with the last two Prized Amalgams and one Kozilek's Return. (again, this is magical dream land.)
Turn 3 - Cast Elder Deep-Fiend on their upkeep by emerging and sacrificing Haunted Dead. Tap their lands and anything else that needs to be tapped.
Turn 4 - Swing for a lot.
