It's no secret that Atraxa is making the biggest splash of the 4-color commanders. She has at least 3 prominent strategies that all play very differently in Stax, Infect, and Super Friends. I don't really care for any of them for the following reasons.

Stax is not fun to me. It turns a game of Commander into a game of Arch Enemy and makes removing one player from the game a priority at the table, so that everyone else can start playing their games and actually use their decks. So I avoid stax in general as a strategy.

Infect as a strategy is way too fast. It can start taking out players by turn 3. I like to spend entire nights playing Commander and seeing what my friends have brewed, and infect just isn't interactive enough in that it wins the race too easily.

Super Friends is a huge hit on the wallet, no matter how you cut it. Even with alternate art, a deck with at minimum, 20% of its cards consisting of planeswalkers is going to run a player $100 or more to construct their deck, and the planeswalkers that Atraxa appreciates the most are relatively low in head count (there are about 5 standouts in Gideon, Tamiyo, Ajani, Sorin, and Teferi).

So I've built an Atraxa deck that's a bit of a mixed bag, wherein all of the pieces synergize well. Our favorite Angel Horror doesn't mind taking a turn or two off - she is patient and plays with the long game in mind. However, once she gets going, the combat turns and card interactions of this deck are explosive. Your friends will often stop paying attention to you just long enough for you to completely turn the board in your favor in a one-turn blowout. And trust me - this deck has plenty of them built in. The win conditions are hardly repetitive and there is so much flexibility in what you can do that you'll find yourself more engaged with other players than you'd normally be. There is a lot of give and take between what I've built and what other decks want - it's a true springboard and wonderful example of how 4-color generals can inform a meta.

If you're looking for a fun way to play Atraxa, please give this deck a shot.
