This deck has a history...

2019 - The beginning My first commander deck has Krenko, Mob Boss as its general, and as you might expect, it generates a lot of hate. One evening I was playing Krenko again in my playgroup and everyone saw me as their archenemy the entire evening. We've played two games and in each game, I was the first one to die. I went home, pissed, and started brewing a new deck. One that would make everyone suffer even more; Grand Arbiter Augustin IV! A nice Stax deck with a couple of steal cards and only a few wincons.

2020 - Playing Stax Sucks: It was fun to see my friends suffer, but it got boring after a while (also for myself).

I'm always brewing something, and I had a little side-project. A fun and casual deck with at least Bruse Tarl, Boorish Herder as general, just because he looks funny (yeah, I'm that kind of player). I just couldn't make it work. I did not want to play Voltron.

Then I saw the light! Why not take out the most annoying Stax cards and make Bruse, together with any other blue partner, the general, so that my boring Stax-deck can become something more fun and casual? Red has always been one of my favorite colors and there are a lot of red steal cards.

Here we are. I've chosen Ishai, Ojutai Dragonspeaker as his partner. Why? Ishai, together with Bruse, is another wincon plus he makes the table uncomfortable. In a few turns, I have a strong flyer with doublestrike that deals commander damage.

I know that a casual and fun deck like this can only be a big mess without any reliable strategy, but hear me out: I'm not the most hated person at the table anymore and I still have enough protection. Some cards are hated, yes, but my friends mostly deal with those cards instead of with me. I'm surviving much longer now!

2022 - A new commander As you can read above, the mustache-guy is a must(ache). Ishai, Ojutai Dragonspeaker is another story. I've chosen this bird because I thought it would make a good "lightning rod", a creature that your opponents just don't want on the table and use all their cards on. The same for Dovin Baan. This plan works exactly how I thought it would, and then I saw the waste of mana and the lack of a board state. So, I'll have to let Bird and Dovin go.

I already have a replacement in mind for the bird. Will be continued!

Possible wincons - Tunnel Vision + Banishing Stroke / Condemn / Spell Crumple; - Laboratory Maniac + anything with scry + Tunnel Vision; - Bruse Tarl, Boorish Herder + Ishai, Ojutai Dragonspeaker or any of the stolen creatures, preferably with Corrupted Conscience; - Approach of the Second Sun + Tunnel Vision or Mystical Tutor; - The wincons of my opponents (if their creatures are involved in it).

Planned changes: - Callous Oppressor out and in: Hijack - Betrayal out and in: Involuntary Employment
