This deck was made in Journey Into Nyx. My cousin was moving into a new house and he found a box with some of his old decks. He gave me them and that's how I got this deck. Obviously I want to make it much better since so many cards have been made since Journey Into Nyx. He explained the idea of deck and basically what he said is that you want to get one creature big and powerful and put Aqueous Form making the creature unlockable or a Stratus Walk giving your creature flying while protecting it with some Gods Willing s or Swan Songs. Hero Iroas is one of the most important cards in this deck because it makes your enchantments cost 1 mana. Just think about this, Turn 2, play a Hero of Iroas . Turn 3, play two Ordeal of Heliod s and an Ordeal of Thassa on Hero of Iroas and then attack. So on Turn 3 if you can pull that off then you just made your Hero of Iroas an 8/8 and also drew 2 cards and gained 20 life. Now for the rest of my creatures. Favored Hoplite is a 1/2 for 1 and has a great heroic ability. Battlewise Hoplite is a 2 drop 2/2 and also has a great heroic ability allowing you to scry. Fabled Hero can end games quickly if not dealt with immediately. Enchanting Fabled Hero with an Aqueous Form or Stratus Walk helps even more with ending the game quicker. Now for my sideboard. Lagonna-Band Trailblazer and Hopeful Eidolon are for match ups against aggro decks. The extra Swan Song is for control decks as well as the Ajani's Precense. Ajani's Precense is also usually sideboarded in against decks with big beefy creatures. If y'all have any suggestions feel free to give them. I love to hear feedback and even critism.
