MY PRIDE AND JOY!

{W}{U}{B}{R}{G} manland tribal!

Although Child of Alara clearly fits this strategy 100% I'm not a big fan. Too cliche/competitive. I prefer Genju of the Realm! My playgroup does too. If/When I need a legal deck that is what is swapped in.

50% 0 CMC (48 land/2 artifact). Dark Confidant and Treasure Hunt are especially strong with these ratios.

Planar Outburst is the only Awaken card I felt fit the strategy. Cascading Cataracts is the strongest target.

The main beaters of the deck are Kessig Wolf Run plus one of the following: Inkmoth Nexus, Celestial Colonnade, Creeping Tar Pit, Dark Depths, Hive of the Eye Tyrant, Hissing Quagmire, Restless Anchorage, Restless Vents, Shambling Vent, Needle Spires, Mutavault or Lavaclaw Reaches.

Shifting Woodland is the new toy out of the Modern Horizons 3 cycle. Endless synergy and utility in this deck.

Blossoming Tortoise the manland lord! Some really silly value alongside Deserted Temple and Rishadan Port. Wins the game Lavaclaw Reaches

Portcullis and 2 manlands keeps the board empty. Engineered Explosives and Coercive Portal guarantee emptiness.

Embargo is similar old jank that absolutely shines in this strategy. Yes, it taxes all the creatures and a single artifact (Mox Diamond) BUT WHO CARES it is essentially a one sided Stasis!

Life from the Loam with Trade Routes/Lotus Vale/Boseiju, Who Endures/Otawara, Soaring City/Takenuma, Abandoned Mire/ the 5 Triome lands = the main value engine of the deck.

Squandered Resources My favorite card in the game. Value engine in this deck and backbone to the strategy.

Manabond is currently in over the epic Exploration. I justify it by the support provided by Academy Ruins/Hall of Heliod's Generosity/Volrath's Stronghold. Very little waste for extra explosive ramp.

Creeping Renaissance or Sunder with Seismic Assault is a back up win condition. Life from the Loam a consistent 6. Trade Routes versatility meets utility.

Walk the Aeons with Titania, Protector of Argoth is a potential win condition.

Mana Web alongside Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth or Yavimaya, Cradle of Growth is the hardest of locks.

Retreat to Coralhelm and Knight of the Reliquary tutors a lot of lands.

Deserted Temple and Oboro Breezecaller filter the mana and utility.

Glacial Chasm, Maze of Ith, Emeria, the Sky Ruin and Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle are activated by Prismatic Omen and Dryad of the Ilysian Grove. Potential win condition with Scapeshift.

Urza's Saga has 3 powerful silver bullets: Amulet of Vigor, Expedition Map and Engineered Explosives.

Amulet of Vigor and Tiller Engine fix 20 lands, World Shaper and Wrenn and Seven.

Karmic Justice protects 70 permanents. Terra Eternal only protects 48. This is why it is in the sideboard for situational heavy land destruction.

Lotus Vale and Lotus Field are the big mana. Both are fixed by Crucible of Worlds, Ancient Greenwarden, Titania, Protector of Argoth and Vesuva. City of Traitors is also fixed by these cards.
