This is a variation of French Rites modified to utilize some of the cards from the new sets and their own abilities, it triggers well and has placed 2nd and 4th in the last two weeks at FNM. It utilizes 3 colors which allows greater stability for land playing, as its mana draw is significantly easier, an it allows for a much more successful hard cast of the big creatures that make up the deck.

Alright after recently testing this deck extensively and several FNM's, I have come to the conclusion that Faithless Looting is a must, as well as fewer overall creatures from the initial build.

Creatures: +1 Birds of Paradise +1 Acavyn's Pilgrim -2 Wolfir Silverheart -2 Soul of the Harvest -3 Somberwald Sage -1 Grave Titan

Artifacts: -1 Batterskull

Spells: +4 Faithless Looting +4 Lingering Souls -1 Trackers Instinct

Thanks goes to shawnmichael666 for his inspiration mana base. Deck runs much smoother, and its really very quick, flash backing and general hating.
