This is a grimoire made by cards in my collection and my goal is to develop it apporting improvements suggested by games and other player, I'm going to play it just with my friend so i prefer to keep his style than focus of making it competitive above everything :) Initially i started to think about a midrange deck inspired by Sanguine Bond (and Exquisite Blood that i dont have yet) then i noticed that a lot of cards that play with life are Clerics so i tought to add Rotlung Reanimator, then while checking on the web for usefull cards,combos and ideas i discovered Xathrid Necromancer that have a very similar effect (Yes i discovered it now because i'm starting to play again after more than 10 years :D), then i noticed that a lot of Clerics are also Human so i turned in a midrange/token deck. (I finded out that there is also Headless Rider have a similar effect too, maybe in the future i will start to think also on a Cleric-Human-Zombie with the last three mentioned card making a grimoire that will look like an "Army of Darkness" :D )

Strategy

Rotlung Reanimator and Xathrid Necromancer are the core of the grimoire, if some creatures are going to dies i added Zulaport Cutthroat(Human) and to emphasize those effects Teysa Karlov is good.(Another Human,i think i'm going to play legendary creatures at least in 3x because I'm not scared to draw them again and being stuck with an hand full of them because i can play those card sending the copy on the board to the graveyard triggering my creatures's skills since the Legends in this deck are Humans or Clerics). At this point i put in the death council also Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose to taking more advantage of the life i gain,this is usefull also because my tokens have already lifelink thanks to Teysa Karlov.

Lunarch Veteran   is a perfect butchery meat, an human cleric that can come back from the graveyard with an usefull effect on both sides Priest of Forgotten Gods let me sacrifice stuff and taking back a lot of benefits Blind Zealot Human Cleric with removal effect that can auto-send itself to the graveyard.

The issues that i found at the moment: Show

1. Before having the board with some tokens i have only Lunarch Veteran   that can be sacrificed with no remorse, maybe in need more little creature as side dish (for example Deathgreeter or Death Cultist? they are human but not clerics)
2. I have only few ways to make my creatures die,sending them in a kamikaze attack or sacrificing them with Priest of Forgotten Gods or Phyrexian Tower, i want to find more way to kill my creatures when i want (maybe Ashnod's Altar + Bond of Agony / Death Grasp / Sanguine Sacrament ecc)
3. I have a lot of drop at 3, i feel to slow, i have few thing to do in the early turn and then a lot of stuff stuck in hand from the third turn
4. Probably i should take more advantage of control/removal potential of these colors, (adding stuff like Pillory of the Sleepless, Spark Harvest , Utter End , Mortify ecc)

• Jet Medallion i found this little treasure in my collection(1x),since i have not to buy it why not
• Exquisite Blood (not in my collection, expensive but interesting addition maybe)
• Various cards with removal,lifegain,control effects like Harsh Sustenance, Dire Tactics, Severed Strands, Gerrard's Verdict, Circle of Despair, Plunge into Darkness, Batwing Brume, Mortify, Yahenni's Expertise / Witch's Vengeance/ Languish, Call of the Death-Dweller
• Wayward Servant / Corpse Knight to exploit the creation of the tokens
• Cruel Celebrant procs on deaths like Zulaport Cutthroat but she is neither human nor cleric
• Imperious Oligarch, Vengeful Strangler   , Deathgreeter, Death Cultist, fast drop of humans/clerics to sacrifice without drawback
• Cabal Archon / Gutless Ghoul sacrifice/lifegain/damage effect
• Grim Haruspex human, draws on deaths
• Hell's Caretaker he is neither human nor cleric but it allows me to kill one of my creatures,getting the benefits of my other permanents's trigger and taking back another creature that i have lost

The grimoire is work in progress, I have not yet reached the minimum limit of 60 cards so advices are welcome
