Basically second breakfast but short term with a demon that forces you to sacrifice everything which you can easily get back with a couple of cards in the deck...

on the decision to use Netherborn Phalanx... It may strike you as odd but I'd rather use this over another form of tutoring... primarily it's there to tutor for your demon... but if you hit your phalanx with the demon's ability via the top 6 cards of your library things get interesting if they've built up enough forces... i don't really want cards in my hand when Hellcarver Demon hits the opponent so Rune-Scarred Demon doesn't really fit the bill on that note...
