Welcome to Derevi, one of the most broken commanders possible! This is my list, heavily based off of Swift2210's list on mtgsalvation. Many of these cards were acquired at GP Chicago 2014, which was a huge blast! But now, on to the deck.

The deck's plan plan is fairly simple. Play lots of creatures. Maybe set up a stasis lock (Stasis, Winter Orb, or Hokori, Dust Drinker), and win via one of the decks three win conditions, two of which are easily accessible.

-Aggro

Obviously. Bring in the beats! This win con, while somewhat hard to accomplish in commander, is this decks primary route to victory. Hit them with your guys. Reduce their life to 0. 'Nuff said.

-Combo

The deck has a few solid combos, revolving around my beautiful foil Deadeye Navigator. This card is bonkers. This plus Derevi and either Gilded Lotus or Bloom Tender can generate infinite mana, which, with an outlet, can take the game. These outlets are Soul of Theros and Heliod, God of the Sun. I have seen Kamahl, Fist of Krosa used for trample, but it would be much less relevant in my meta so I prefer the Soul.

-Voltron

While Derevi seems pretty non-threatening as only a 2/3, with a Sword of Feast and Famine under a Stasis lock she's pretty much unbeatable. It's never a primary win con, but it has won me a few games.

Cards I want to cut:

Cloud of Faeries: While it is okay as a combo piece, outside of that it's pretty weak

lightning greves : While it is generally considered an EDH Staple, it hasn't performed very well in my list.

Slithermuse : A card that has always been pretty hit or miss, but it misses quite a bit. I can keep my hand full other ways.

Weathered Wayfarer: Until I get a Gaea's Cradle this card doesn't fetch much that's notable.

Any lands that ETB tapped: They're too slow. This deck needs speed, and a Temple into a Bounce land is a horrible start.

Cards I'm looking to Add:

Gaea's Cradle: Yeah, this doesn't need any explanation.

Jace, the Mind Sculptor: Neither does he.

Natural Order : Sac a mana dork, get Craterhoof. Seems good.

Sylvan Library: THIS CARD'S SOOOOO GOOD

Eternal Witness: I NEED TO FIND ONE OF THESE SERIOUSLY

Stroke of Genius: This deck can make a lot of mana, and who doesn't like drawing cards?

Fancy Expensive Lands: Filters, Lotus Vale, Minamo, Flagstones, etc. Good cards.

Survival of the Fittest: Best green card in EDH. Can set up ridiculous plays for just a few Green mana.

Gilded Drake: Why deal with threats when you can just take them?

Pact of Negation: Free counterspell. YAY!

Venser, Shaper Savant: Remand. Or Boomerang. Whatever you need dealt with he does it. And is a creature.
