This deck uses winter orb effects to maximize the value of Derevis Taps and untaps. Stax and hate effects are run to slow down the game and eventually reaching a soft lock by tapping down the opponents lands. It also runs a Stasis Hard lock and a backup wincon.

In two-headed giant Deveri can untap the allies land. Not only can this break your allys stax parity, it can also be used to enable them to combo off earlier. Even just casting deveri for 3 to give your ally one mana can be the diffrence.
